Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at www.argusau.com.au.
Please note that all products sold by ARGUS Australia are shipped from our New Zealand warehouse, and all returns must be sent back to our New Zealand address.

If you believe your goods are defective, please contact us before sending anything back. Returns will not be accepted without prior approval.


1. Returning Goods

The following terms apply to all returns:

1.1 Eligibility for Returns

We only accept returns if:

  • the goods were defective at the time of purchase; or

  • we have agreed in writing that a return is permitted.

1.2 Before Returning Goods

Please re-read the product instructions, ensure the item has been assembled correctly, and confirm you have followed all usage guidelines where applicable.

1.3 Return Timeframe and Address

Goods must be returned as soon as a defect is discovered and no later than 14 days after receiving them.

1.4 Condition of Returned Goods

Returned goods must be:

1.4.1 in original condition, including packaging wherever possible;
1.4.2 securely wrapped;
1.4.3 returned with the delivery slip;
1.4.4 sent at your own cost and risk.

1.5 Complete Product Required

We are unable to process complaints unless the entire product, including all components and original packaging, is returned.

1.6 Description of Fault

Please include a detailed note describing the fault and when it occurred.

1.7 Manufacturer’s Guarantee

Most products include a minimum 12-month manufacturer’s warranty.

1.8 Consumer Protections (Australia)

If delivery was made to an Australian address, your purchase is protected by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides guarantees relating to the quality, suitability, and performance of goods. These rights cannot be excluded and apply in addition to any manufacturer’s warranty.

1.9 If the Goods Are Found to Be Faulty

If we confirm that the goods are faulty, we will:

1.9.1 refund the cost of return shipping; and
1.9.2 repair or replace the goods, at our discretion.


2. Refund Process

2.1 Once your return is received, we will inspect the item and advise you of the outcome.
2.2 If approved, your refund will be processed via your original payment method.
2.3 Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
